ViralSignal ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our platform and services. By using ViralSignal, you agree to the data practices described in this policy.

2. Data We Collect

We may collect the following types of data:

• Contact information: Email address (when you join the waitlist or create an account)
• Account information: Display name, language preference, market selection (TW/HK)
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, generation history, timestamps, and interaction patterns — collected to improve the service
• Device data: Browser type, operating system, IP address (anonymized), screen resolution — collected automatically for analytics
• Payment data: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details on our servers
• Threads 公開資料: 透過 Meta 官方 Threads API 取得的公開貼文、回覆、節錄、賬戶名稱、貼文連結及公開互動數字。我們會在找機會、草稿、追蹤及專人代辦服務中使用個別搜尋結果，亦會分析趨勢。公開搜尋不會取得私人訊息、非公開貼文或私人個人檔案。
• 生意資料: 你描述生意的文字、你提供的網站地址，以及你貼上的簡介。我們只會在你提供網址時讀取該網站的首頁及最多兩個相關的公開頁面，用來建議服務；網站內容不會儲存。我們不會從 Instagram、Facebook 或其他社交平台讀取任何內容。

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, and improve the ViralSignal platform
• To send product launch notifications and early-bird offers (waitlist subscribers)

• To personalize your content generation experience based on your creator profile
• To process payments and manage subscriptions

4. Meta Threads API Data Usage

ViralSignal 使用 Meta Threads API 取得公開對話，並支援你使用的功能。我們會按以下方式處理資料：

• 公開搜尋透過官方 API 取得可公開查看的 Threads 貼文。已連接賬戶的功能亦會按你授權的權限，使用可存取的個人檔案、貼文及回覆資料。
• 我們會按展示結果、交付或追蹤紀錄的需要，儲存公開賬戶名稱、貼文連結及節錄。公開識別資料仍可辨認個人，並非匿名資料。
• 我們不會讀取 Threads 私人訊息，專人代辦服務亦不會要求你提供 Threads 密碼。
• 找機會會展示個別對話。專人代辦服務亦可能把選定的公開連結、賬戶名稱及相關節錄，交給該項工作的客戶審閱。
• 我們不會出售或出租 Threads 資料。相關內容可能由下列服務供應商處理，並交給接收該項工作的客戶；用途並不限於匯總統計。

• 找機會會排程清理取得超過 30 天、符合條件且未儲存的結果，以及記錄回覆超過 30 天的來源文字。已儲存項目、草稿、備註、發佈紀錄及追蹤資料有不同的保留需要；並非所有紀錄或交付副本都會在 30 天後刪除。

5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

我們不會出售你的個人資料。資料只供安排或交付服務所需的團隊成員、相關客戶及其同意的收件人，以及處理該項工作的服務供應商使用：

• Google Sheets: Waitlist data collection and management
• Supabase: Database hosting and authentication
• Vercel: Website hosting and deployment
• Stripe: Payment processing
• OpenRouter 及處理該次請求的模型供應商，包括 OpenAI 及 Google：使用相關輸入及公開內容進行 AI 分析及草稿生成。設定生意時，相關輸入包括你描述生意的文字、你提供網址的網站公開頁面，以及你貼上的任何文字。

協助改善 ViralSignal

獲邀後，你可以在設定選擇「分享我的產品使用情況」。我們會將指定操作與結果傳送至 PostHog，例如搜尋、生成、成功複製、主動儲存、已驗證的發布連結及付費訂閱紀錄。事件使用內部帳戶識別碼及固定標籤，不包含貼文與回覆內容、提示詞、私人備註、電子郵件、Threads 帳號名稱、原始網址或付款識別碼。我們不使用 PostHog 螢幕錄影、自動點擊收集或分析 Cookie。你可以自由選擇是否參與，並隨時在設定關閉。

預約專人代辦通話

如你透過 Cal.com 預約專人代辦服務的通話，預約由 Cal.com 處理。Cal.com 會收集你的姓名、電郵、你在預約時填寫的答案及你選擇的時間；如選擇電話通話，亦會收集你的電話號碼。我們會用這些資料安排及準備通話，並跟進你的查詢。如你繼續試做或付費服務，亦會按下文所述使用相關資料準備及交付工作。資料會保存在團隊的 Cal.com 賬戶，Cal.com 亦會以電郵把資料寄給團隊；如團隊已連接日曆，通話亦會加入團隊日曆。每次預約、改期或取消時，預約資料的副本會傳送至團隊的內部 Discord 頻道。

如你使用本網站的直接預約表格，我們會收集你的姓名、電郵、店舖或品牌、Threads帳戶、產品或服務、想找的對話類型，以及你自願提供的 WhatsApp 號碼和問題。我們會在受存取限制的數據庫保存這些資料，用作安排及準備通話。Google Calendar 用作查詢可預約時段及保留已確認的通話。團隊的內部 Discord 頻道會收到包含預約編號、時段及必要摘要的通知，完整填寫資料不會在該通知中列出。

直接預約紀錄及團隊日曆和 Discord 的相關副本，只會在處理查詢、提供服務或履行適用紀錄保存義務所需的期間保留。如要刪除，請電郵至 viralsignalapp@gmail.com，並提供預約時使用的電郵地址。我們會查看可控制的副本，並說明必須保留的紀錄。

專人代辦服務及交付紀錄

處理查詢、試做及付費工作時，我們會使用你提供的業務資料、聯絡資料、Threads 賬戶名稱、目標及偏好。私人交付紀錄表可記錄所選渠道、公開來源連結、草稿位置及版本、你的批准或修改決定、已發佈回覆或貼文連結、工作時間，以及成效觀察的日期、來源及數字。數字只來自公開資料或你自願提供的資料；缺少數字不會當作零。

我們會透過雙方同意的電郵、WhatsApp 或 Telegram 渠道交付內容。交付紀錄只應由負責服務的團隊成員及你同意的收件人存取。團隊不會登入你的 Threads 賬戶、代發私人訊息或代你發佈。你會自行審閱，並由自己的賬戶發佈。

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers provided by Supabase and Vercel, using industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest). We implement the following security measures:

• All API communications are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
• Database access is restricted via role-based access controls
• API keys and secrets are stored in environment variables, never in source code
• Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe (PCI DSS compliant) and never touches our servers
• We conduct periodic security reviews of our codebase and infrastructure

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.

• Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
• Waitlist data: Retained until product launch or until you request removal.

• 專人代辦服務及交付紀錄: 交付及批准紀錄只會在提供服務、處理查詢或履行適用紀錄保存義務所需的期間保留。服務結束或你提出刪除要求時，我們會查看私人紀錄表及團隊可控制的交付渠道副本。這是人手處理，並非 30 天後自動清除。
• Threads 公開資料: 找機會會排程清理取得超過 30 天、符合條件且未儲存的結果，以及記錄回覆超過 30 天的來源文字。已儲存項目、草稿、備註、發佈紀錄及追蹤資料有不同的保留需要；並非所有紀錄或交付副本都會在 30 天後刪除。

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (see Section 7 above)
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email
• Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to ensure the platform functions correctly, and analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

10. Children's Privacy

ViralSignal is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

11. Legal Compliance

This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with applicable data protection regulations, including but not limited to Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO). We may disclose personal data if required to do so by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify users via email or a prominent notice on the platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised.
